Version 1.3 · Effective November 8, 2026

Acceptable Use Policy

All legal documents

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to every call, text, greeting, and upload you make through Optana.

Consent and calling

Do not place robocalls, autodialed calls, or prerecorded calls except where you have the consent the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other law require, and except where an exception clearly applies. Do not call numbers on a do-not-call list when the law forbids it. You are responsible for the consent, the calling window, and the caller ID you present.

Text messages

Do not send spam or unsolicited marketing texts. Text only people who agreed to receive messages from that business, as described in the SMS Terms. Honor STOP immediately. Do not buy or upload lists of numbers that did not consent to that business.

Unlawful content

Do not use the service for anything illegal. That includes fraud, phishing, harassment, threats, child sexual abuse material, and content that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not try to break, scan, or overload the service, or to get into another customer’s account.

Emergency and high-risk use

Do not present Optana as 911 or as another emergency service. Do not use it as the only way to reach help in a situation where a missed or wrong answer could cause death, personal injury, or serious property damage, unless a trained person is in the path and the caller is told how to reach emergency services.

What we may do

We may refuse, block, or remove traffic that breaks this policy, and we may suspend the account. We may keep logs we need to investigate abuse and to meet the law.
